The brief
A client came in with a photograph of her grandmother's jacket and one request: the same shoulder, but light enough for August. We drafted a fresh block from her measurements, then toiled it twice before cutting the linen.
What we made
Fully unlined with bound seams, a soft shoulder, and a half-belt at the back. Three fittings, six weeks, and a jacket she now wears eleven months of the year.
