A bias-cut silk gown built over five fittings for a small countryside wedding.

The brief
No lace, no train, nothing that needed managing. The brief was a dress that moved like water and could be danced in until two in the morning.
What we made
Bias-cut crepe with a hand-rolled hem and an internal grosgrain stay so the neckline never shifted. Re-dyed dusty rose the following spring so it could be worn again.
